2. Rotary cultivator operation. Since the structure of the tractor's hydraulic suspension device and power take-off shaft has two forms, the lifting operation of the rotary cultivator is also different. One is that the tractor hydraulic linkage and power take-off shaft are driven separately (such as taishan-50, Dongfeng-50, Shanghai-50 and other tractors). Regardless of whether the power take-off shaft rotates, the lifting and lowering of the rotary cultivator are not affected by the power take-off shaft. The hydraulic linkage and power take-off shaft of another tractor are linked (such as fengshou-27 tractor). With this model, the rotary cultivator can be lifted only when the power take-off shaft rotates or the sheet metal is scratched carelessly. When this kind of tractor is working in the field, if the knife rolls and sinks in the mud, the knife shaft cannot rotate, and the tractor stalls due to heavy load, and the rotary cultivator cannot rise. At this time, the universal joint on the power output shaft should be removed, and the power output shaft should be idled to lift the rotary cultivator, so that the knife shaft can be out of gear and rotate

II. Adjustment and maintenance of rotary cultivator

1. Adjustment of chain. When adjusting the chain, attention should be paid to the loose edge of the chain, which will lead to chain climbing. If it is too tight, it will aggravate the wear. When adjusting, pay attention that the force of the top tensioning slide rail should be within kg, and it is appropriate to press the loose chain. If it cannot be pressed with force, it means that the chain is too tight

2. Adjustment of bearing clearance. There are two ways to adjust it: one is to increase or decrease shims. For bearings with fixed inner ring and adjustable outer ring, the axial clearance can be adjusted by increasing or decreasing the gasket at the bearing cover. The adjustment method is (take the 1m rotary cultivator as an example): first tighten the round nut at the end of the large bevel gear, lock the thrust washer, then tighten the round nut at the other end, rotate the bearing by hand until it cannot rotate by inertia force, and then knock the shaft with a wooden hammer of the length shown by the leakage to make the inner and outer rings of the bearing close together, and then recheck the pre tightening of the bearing, and lock the round nut with a lock after adjustment

3. Maintenance of main working parts

⑴ machete. The machete with blunt edge should be sharpened again. The deformed machete should be padded and corrected, and then quenched (the handle part is not quenched). The hardness of the quenched machete should be HRC. If it is damaged, it should be replaced with a new one. (2) cutter base. The damage of the tool holder is mostly desoldering, cracking or hexagonal hole deformation. Locally damaged tool holders can be repaired with welding rods, and those seriously damaged should be replaced. However, pay attention to the deformation of the cutter shaft when welding the cutter base. (3) cutter shaft tube. A section of round steel with good weldability can be placed in the pipe at the fracture of the broken knife shaft tube. After welding, artificial aging and plastic straightening should be carried out, and then the bearing blocks at both ends should be checked. If the out of tolerance is too large, the shaft head at the end without spline needs to be replaced.
